This is my final project for my degree, and once again I've set the brief. I wanted to play on my strong points, which are illustration and layout design, to create a book about British endangered species. Here are some pictures that I have drawn for the book ...
These are some snaps from a brief I set myself, called Books for Boys. I set myself the challenge of trying to flog Jane Austen books to men in a bid to find out how much a book is judged by its cover. They're done as a homage to Penguin Modern Classics ...

These drawings were done for a project in which we had to find a small organisation to produce a magazine about. I chose to study Bath Organic Group, and focused on human interaction with the natural world.

This project was titled 'Hidden', and I decided to focus on coding messages based on some of my grandfather's wartime letters. I used a range of medias to first of all create facsimiles of some of these letters, and then to stitch a coded message based on a passage from one of the letters. I loved doing this project and would love to do something like this again ...
My first piece of work in second year for a project called 'Words in Space'. The words used are based on something quite personal to me, and I have used manipulated newspaper type to create a translucent illusion to communicate the emotion behind the meaning.
